From Wardrobe Squatter to Voiceover Virtuoso: Inside My Home Studio

Welcome to the heart and soul of my voiceover journey—my humble home studio. 

Being able to work from home in a home studio was a dream come true for me when I ventured into the world of voice acting. Let's face it, who wouldn't want to skip the daily commute? (But seriously, when will I find time to catch up on those thousands of podcasts I've got queued up?) 

So, like any determined newbie, I kicked off my voice-over journey by setting up camp kneeling in front of my wardrobe, microphone in hand, draped in a duvet. It was a makeshift setup that got the job done, but let's just say my knees weren't thrilled with the arrangement! And so I invested in a professional home studio setup where I could stand tall, move freely, and pour my heart and soul into my recordings.

Having my own studio space means I have the freedom to unleash my creativity without constraints. I can experiment with different recording techniques, delve into various styles, accents, and characters, all without feeling rushed or confined by studio time.
